Artist's Bio Candace Woodson was born in Paducah Kentucky. She began singing at the age of 5. She and her two older sisters were introduced to music at an early age by singing gospel in church. Candace went on to pursue her love for music by attending TN State University and graduating with a Commercial Music Degree. She continued to write songs and work as a radio personality in Nashville TN after graduation.
Although life lead her to focusing on her family and traveling with her boys to pursue their gifts, she could never escape her love for the stage and entertaining. Once she moved to Hilton Head, SC she put together a band called Candace Woodson and the Domino Theory Band. They became known as the Island's Latest Sensation.

After much success with the band Candace began to seek out producers and studios to start recording a solo project. In the midst of putting all of this together at a routine exam she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This made her more determined to live out her dream of being a songwriter entertainer. After her surgery and being on the mend, she went back to her search for producers and studios to record.
By submitting one of her old recordings to music producer Kendall Duffie who's studio is in Nashville TN they collaborated on her first single All IT Takes . She knew she was on the right track so she began to write more about her experiences and recorded her next single "FREE" in Charlotte NC with several producers and musicians. The inspiration for the song came from a routine Doctors visit when she received good news of being cancer free. The impact of this song has lead to her second single "FREE" along with a remix version. It is getting great reviews in the UK and is quickly building a fan base.
Candace will be releasing the complete project titled SONGS OF SURVIVAL the first of the year. Her goal is to encourage and inspire all to live out their dreams and be "FREE".
